Advertising my Blog

Had a wonderful bussiness lunch today and the end of the year is nearly at the end. Well I've add my blog to a few Blog directories yesterday and also place Google's Adsense to the Blog. I must give Google credit for the easy way in which you could put adsense to your Blog or Website.

I accept that adding my blog to the Blog directories or a search engin doesn't mean you'll automatically get the visitors you want or need to make it worthwhile and that your Blog is just another small star out there in the Web/Blog universe - but then again more bling makes a better scene.

My son wants to buy some games from www.kalahari.net - why not start there and add them as an affiliate and save a bit of money - makes bussiness sense.

CAN YOU REALLY MAKE MONEY BY USING AFFILIATE PROGRAMS FROM THE INTERNET?

My answer is I don’t know if it is possible to make any money or as people claim to make lots of money by Internet users clicking on links from your site to affiliate websites.

My opinion is that maybe it is possible to make some money, but a lot and my answer is definitively, NO. You have read about it and see people advertise on the Internet while surfing how easily you could make money through affiliates and other “ click-able business ventures” they tell you how they earn a high income through affiliates but before they tell you how to go about it you must order their step-by-step program.

So how did I get interested in this “ click-able” business – is it only another unclick-able business venture?

I own my own business and my generation was teach that the only way to make money is through hard work and sweat so how is it possible to make any money by the click of a mouse. But then again the web is a new world with new money making ideas.

I was sick this week and at home and as I was surfing on the net reading my mail these “ How to earn lots of money programs” keep popping up and on nearly every business site there is the opportunity to join them as a affiliate. I then decided why not lets try and see what happen. I also decide to start a Blog and map out my successes or where did I go wrong.

I must admit that I ‘am a total novice with this venture and did not do a lot of research on the topic so I’ am GOING TO MAKE MISTAKES but I’ll will learn on the way and do my research – the best way to learn anyway is through your mistakes.

I want to tell the good parts as well as the not so good parts of this venture. So come with me on this click-able business venture – I’ll tell you exactly how it is and keep you up to date on my progress and the cost involved through my Blog. I shall try to make at least one entry every week on my Blog to keep you inform because I still had to run my existing business. But then again the programs people offer for this type is business is that you don’t have t spend a lot time to run it – it runs by itself, so they claim.

Why would you ask is my Blog’s name “20boxes”? Well I’ll give this venture 20 months to become a money-spinner and the boxes are there to put the money in.
